Are we ever alone?

So many of us avoid being alone. we constantly try to occupy ourselves with other things because silence can feel like being in an unknown land. A land where you don't know what to do or what to expect. Some choose to explore, some are afraid and some avoid it at all cost.

sometimes when you are sitting quietly and you suddenly conjure up undesired thoughts. why do you get such thoughts? where do these thoughts come from? Silence can make your thoughts louder or it can just simply bore you. why do you feel like there's someone even when you are alone?

According to Jainism:

The atoms of thoughts are everywhere, and constantly on the move. the thoughts of millions of people are there in the cosmos. when you fall under the range of these thoughts, the same thoughts are created in your mind. You shouldn't believe that your thoughts are unique. They can belong to someone else or to several other people. It is hard to decide which thoughts belong to you and which belongs to others. This world of thoughts is all-pervasive. if you are in forest and there is no other soul, you are still not alone. These thoughts do not look for an empty, clear mind. They are guided to people who are full of thoughts.

When your lesya becomes red, yellow or white, not a single thought can enter. This is the moment when you are alone. In spite of living in society, you are aware of your own self.

It is human nature to determine the intended activity before carrying it out. Therefore, we desire thought before we actually think. There is a very small time-frame between determination of thinking and the activity of thinking so normally we do not notice the gap. After determination of thinking, thought-atom get attracted by our consciousness and take the shape of our thinking pattern.

My take:

so according to the text above, it would mean if your lesya is black, blue or grey, it attracts thoughts that don't belong to you. you attract what you desire. The leshya of black, blue and grey may desire undesired thoughts.
