CRP

Title Of CRP

I came up with many titles for CRP. Starting from finding peace through possessions: inspired by Jainism, modest objects, objects of eternal utility and many more in the process. What I failed to realise was the term "Jain" is a powerful word in its entirety. It translates to "Follower of the Conquerors". Conquerors(Jina) of self. Thus following the path of these conquerors to learn and expand knowledge. It is only appropriate to address and acknowledge the source of the knowledge. Hence I decided the title of my CRP to be Objects for self: Inspired by the Conquerors of self before 6th century BCE.

Writing style

I started writing in a way that came naturally to me. The writing style that felt natural. It was a mix of poetic style and a formal style. it felt okay to me until I heard a podcast about the art of writing. It mentioned how writing should be simple. The power of "." full stop. The power of short sentences on mental energy. The longer the sentence, the more work for the short term memory. I think It's genius. It Is easy to keep going when articulating thoughts. It Is much harder to compose oneself to write clearly. Writing that is simple enough to comprehend without any mental strain. Regardless of how complex the topic, writing should be simple. It is the way to win the reader's heart. It is then I decided to follow this simple trick. The tone of my paper should align with the content of my paper. simplicity. It was rather hard in practice. I analysed the necessity of words in sentences frequently. I found myself deleting words quite often. By doing so, my sentences felt impactful. words can be powerful when they are not overcrowded in one sentence.
