Final look

Just something I was thinking while looking at my table. It feels different because this is the last product of my MA. When I look at all the things I made in the last 15 months, I see bigger picture. I see the whole journey and everything that went into making It. All those countless hours, decisions, every frustration, every failure, all the stress, but also the pure joy, the happiness, and that deep satisfaction when it finally comes together.

It's more than just me and my own story. I see all the amazing people who supported me along the way. I hear their words that touched my heart and pushed me forward - sometimes their words, sometimes my own. I see all those incredible designers and artists who came before me, whose work sparked something in my mind and flowed into my own design. so when I look at all the things I have made, I know they are not just mine - it belongs to all of us who were part of its story. I feel really grateful.

Through this MA program I have overcome some of my biggest fears. I was never the person who would come forward and show her work. I never wanted the judgement and criticism. I always felt safer showing it to a few people that I felt comfortable with. It could be more of a cultural thing, I am not sure. I feel much more confident now. Everyone is just so supportive, loving and caring. This whole experience really helped me open up. It also helped me see things in different light, surprisingly it's not so easy when you are stuck. it helped me to keep things simple and uncomplicated. More importantly to make things beautiful. It was such a fulfilling experience to be able to work in workshops so much. learn so much through making. I think that was the biggest learning.
